New Genetic Testing System – MyCatDNA™
Starting from October 2024, we have introduced a new genetic testing system based on MyCatDNA™+ DNA Profile with Parentage Service.
As a result, we now offer a complete genetic profile for our cats (up to 50 genetic tests), including health analysis, genetic diversity, and verification of ancestry (!!!).
These advanced tests enable us to maintain the highest quality of our breeding program while simultaneously confirming the authenticity of our lines (!!!).
The MyCatDNA™ panels comprehensively screen for:
- Health and hereditary diseases: Identifying potential genetic disorders such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), polycystic kidney disease (PKD), and over 40 other conditions.
- Genetic diversity: Measuring the genetic variability within our breeding lines to ensure robust health and vitality in future generations.
- Traits: Detecting genes responsible for coat color, patterns, fur length, and other physical characteristics.
- Blood type: Determining the cat’s blood type, critical for health management and breeding.
- Parentage confirmation: Providing certified verification of lineage and authenticity of our breeding lines.
